Word jokes

I have always been a fan of word jokes, and I like to make them myself. Most people make the mistake or wrong judgement that if you like to make jokes (or better say you can't help making them), your outlook on life is shiny and bright and you are an upbeat guy or girl. Over the years I have found more balance in making jokes and being serious, I guess that's how it goes as you grow older, as I just like everybody else don't take life as a joke - to say the least.

Life is partly what you make of it and even then there is no quarantee for happiness. There is so much trouble in the world that if I read about it, it makes me very sad. But usually everyday life and all your small obligations suck you up so much, that there is not even time to think about complicated world problems. But then again I am a pretty happy translator, focussing mainly on the work itself I mean, and everything that comes with it (or without). A happy translator maybe doesn't make a happy life but it sure makes a difference if you like your work. And wife and children.
